The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a logistics professional to join a leading global logistics organization and play a key role in managing air freight operations. The role focuses on shipment coordination, documentation management, operational efficiency, and proactive customer service to ensure timely and cost-effective cargo delivery

The successful candidate will work closely with airlines, customs brokers, ground handlers, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth end-to-end execution of air import and export shipments while maintaining the highest service standards

Description

• Ensure efficient file handling, accurate data entry, and proper maintenance of shipment records within company systems
• Prepare and review all required shipment documentation, including airway bills, customs declarations, compliance forms, and shipping instructions
• Coordinate with airlines, ground handlers, customs brokers, and customers to ensure smooth cargo movement
• Monitor shipment status in real time and proactively resolve delays, disruptions, or operational issues
• Optimize shipment routing and consolidation activities to improve efficiency and minimise local operational costs
• Maintain consistent shipment visibility and provide proactive updates to customers regarding shipment progress
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of air import and export shipments
• Ensure compliance with operational procedures, regulatory requirements, and company standards
• Participate in training and development programmed to stay informed of industry developments and operational best practices

Requirements

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in Air Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain Operations
• Experience coordinating air import and/or export shipments from booking through final delivery
• Strong understanding of air freight documentation, shipment coordination, and operational processes
• Good knowledge of international shipping procedures and logistics operations
• Strong communication and coordination skills with customers, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
• Good problem-solving capabilities and customer service orientation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and logistics management systems
• Good command of written and spoken English
